Educator

Dorian is a passionate teacher and currently maintains a private studio, teaches chamber music for the Great Falls Symphony Youth Orchestra, and is the bassoon professor at Montana State University, Bozeman. Previously, he has been an adjunct professor at Great Falls College and guest instructor at the University of Montana in Missoula.

 

Mr. Antipa has previously served as a visiting professor for a semester term at the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music in Stockton, CA and has also been on faculty with the Metropolis school for the Performing Arts and the Hartt Community Division where he also coordinated the woodwind chamber music program and coached ensembles. Additionally, Dorian was a bassoon instructor for the West Hartford Public Schools in Connecticut and for District 211 in Illinois. He has maintained a private studio for over ten years and has former students studying bassoon at schools including Boston University and The Hartt School.
